Dear Friends & Family,
After nearly 3 years (can you believe it?) I will be returning to Tanzania for one week in mid-August! My plan is not only to spend time with the people we met and worked with their but also to encourage and strengthen the group of friends I worked with to start Hakuna Matata Walking Tours. During that one week I plan to:
-Meet with the Bordens & the Russells who we spent a majority of our time with through Wild Hope
-Visit Gertruda who was an orphan we helped get off the street who is now living at the Amani Childrens Home in Moshi
-Spend time with Erick Laizer who we helped get his business certificate and who also leads the Walking Tour Company as well as Tommas and Erick who work alongside him.
It will be a busy, fun-filled trip and I look forward to providing you updates. Since we are not going through any organization all expenses for the trip including airfare, immunizations, and time off are unpaid and not tax-deductible.
